...Last weekend worked JD1BMH on Ogasawara, 17m CW. <br /><br />He was of course working split, many were calling, not a huge pile-up but still, jumped in on a relatively clear spot some 2 kHz higher than he was, believe it or not he came on my 1st call..<br /><br />That doesn't very often here so I had luck on my side!<br />15 seconds and it was all done and over with, Ogasawara in the bag. It's lunch period here in the office so I was cruising along on the internet until I ran into your web page.<br /><br />Congratulations on a GREAT job well done! <br />I too like you love chasing DX and like you I have average means at my disposal to make it.<br /><br />I too have no amplifier, I have 1 rig, a TS590S (shortly a YouKits HF-1B QRP rig) and as an apartment dweller (3rd floor) have but 1 antenna, a 20m Windom hanging outdoors.<br /><br />My main mode is CW too, I'm currently at 205 confirmed and 222 worked.<br />In other words I still have a little work on my hands and I'm 58!<br />Worse yet end this year I'll be going on early retirement and I think within 1 or 2 years relocating to Malta which means starting all over again, HA!<br /><br />Oh well, it's been fun the last 38 years. <br />I have WAZ CW on the wall here and am pretty much involved with 5BWAZ. (entry level)<br /><br />It's not a good idea going for 5BWAZ and going for a high score on the DXCC ladder too but I can't help it, I have something with the WAZ program.<br /><br />So there you are.<br />Again congratulations on making Honor Roll!<br /><br />73, good DX.
